Hungary is a small, cozy country located in the Eastern Europe, a former member of the Warsaw Pact and a former empire. In Budapest alone you can visit 25 thermal baths, which are famous not only for the diversity of the chemical composition of their healing waters, but also for their architecture. Thermal sanatoriums operate at a high level in the country; visitors come for mud treatments in the volcanic Lake Heviz all year round. The climate and accessibility of private medicine create comfortable living conditions for pensioners.

If one is planning to move with children, then an important consideration will be the child’s quick adaptation to the new language environment. Budapest has a wide range of bilingual schools and kindergartens, some of which are public and free. Higher education in many cities of Hungary in the field of computer science, design and medicine can be obtained in English. With a Hungarian diploma it will be much easier to continue the studies or get a job in the European Union, Great Britain or the USA.

According to the objective ratings of the Quality of Nationality Index for 2018 (Kalin and Kochenov’s Quality of Nationality Index), Hungary ranks 17th out of a list of 159 countries.
